Questions to think about:
  • How do you feel about the family of a person who suffers from a rare disease and about which they have little knowledge?
  • What added value is there with the fact of knowing some patients who will benefit from the results of the research?

Summary:

Once he found the gene causing the disease we were analyzing all families that we had. When you show families that what is analyzed happens to have a name, this is also good because you are involved and try to find an answer that until now had not been found.
